Rules and Restrictions
By participating in the Rental Program with Direct Rental Service, you agree to the rules and regulations below.
Delivery and Pickup Times:
Every effort will be made to deliver or pick up the rental unit during our business hours on the day of delivery or pickup, Monday through Friday. However, delivery times or dates could vary due to inclement weather, traffic conditions, or mechanical breakdowns. We will promptly contact you if there are delays in delivery or pickup.
Please note that we do not have specific pickup times, only scheduled days. Our trucks are scheduled to pick up every customer on the route on the scheduled day, and if we miss one, we will correct this as soon as possible. If your scheduled pickup day falls on a holiday, your pickup might be scheduled for the following day.
The equipment furnished here by Direct Rental Service shall remain the customer’s property. The customer is entitled to take care, custody, and control of the equipment while at the customer’s location and accepts responsibility for any loss or damage to the equipment (except for normal wear and tear or for loss or damage resulting from Direct Rental Service’s handling of the equipment) and for its contents. The customer agrees not to overload (by weight or volume), move or alter the equipment and shall use it only for its proper and intended purpose. Customer agrees to indemnify, defend and hold Direct Rental Service harmless against all claims, damages, suits, penalties, fines, and liabilities for injury or death to persons or loss or damage to property arising from the customer’s use, operation, or possession of the equipment.
The customer agrees to provide unobstructed access to the equipment on the scheduled collection day. If the equipment is found to be inaccessible, and the scheduled pickup cannot be made, Direct Rental Service will promptly notify the customer and give them a reasonable opportunity to provide access and reschedule the service. Direct Rental Service will charge an additional fee for the customer’s failure to provide clear initial access.
Due to uncertain soil conditions and sub-surface terrain, Direct Rental Service cannot be held responsible for any damage to customer driveways, curbs, lawns or walks, wells, and septic systems. The customer is responsible for making Direct Rental Service aware of any underground utilities that might be affected before a delivery is made. Every effort will be made to deliver or pick up the rental unit during our business hours on the day of delivery or pickup, Monday through Friday. Neither party hereto shall be liable for its failure to perform or delay performance due to circumstances or the significant threat of circumstances beyond its reasonable control, whether foreseeable or not, including, but not limited to, strikes, labor trouble, riots, compliance with laws or government orders, acts of war or terrorism, inability to access rental unit, fires, and acts of god and such failure shall not constitute a default under this Agreement.
Charges and Payment
The customer shall pay Direct Rental Service for a cancellation fee, trip charges, or relocation charges that were not prepaid by the customer in accordance with the schedule of charges.
Cancellations made to any approved order are subject to a cancellation fee of $50 for Portable Toilets and $100 for Dumpsters. Cancellations or changes made 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) prior to the scheduled service date are subjected to a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations made on the scheduled delivery date may result in no refunds.
If the requested service needs to be canceled, the customer needs to indicate the cancellation request in writing via email. Customer is responsible for the full amount on any invoice not returned with a written request for cancellation.
All refunds, compensation, and/or credit requests must occur within 30 days of service completion. Any refunds issued will be at the sole discretion of Direct Rental Service.
Customers or visitors who subscribe to our mailing list receive information on products, services, and discounts. We do not contact subscribers by any other means.
